PARISH COUNCIL ELECTIONS: Prayerfully consider again this week who in the parish would represent you well in an advisory capacity to Father Jerry. Next weekend, you will have the opportunity to place names in nomination for upcoming vacancies on the Parish Pastoral Council. Use a ballot and submit it in the specially marked box in the vestibule of the church. You may also nominate yourself. Potential candidates will be invited to a Day of Discernment on May 31 to discuss requirements for the position and their views of the parish. The election will be held in June. Please see today’s bulletin insert with more information about this process.

Spotlight:

Eucharistic Procession
A MOST AWESOME EVENT: Our third annual Eucharistic Procession on the great feast of Corpus Christi will be held on Sunday, May 25 immediately following the 11:30 Mass. The Procession begins in front of the church, heads down to the corner of Frederick Street, proceeds one block to Central Avenue, continues up Central to Pump Street and then back to church. This route is about 0.6 miles and avoids many of the hillier sections of the downtown area.

To publicly display our belief in the Real Presence of Christ in the Eucharist is aspiritual experience that has inspired those who have walked in the past. It is our hope that YOU will join us this year. If you attend another Mass, please return to the church around 12:45. The march will conclude with Benediction in the church. Light refreshments will be served in Assisi Hall.
